Applications Open: NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme

From 3rd to 28th November 2025, applications are open for three transformative programmes designed to support innovation in healthcare:

  • NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP)
  • Patient Entrepreneur Programme (PEP)
  • Dementia Innovators Programme

Delivered by the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, the UK’s largest initiative of its kind, these programmes empower NHS staff, patients, and care professionals to transform ideas into impactful solutions for patient care and system improvement.

What’s on Offer:

Participants gain access to:

  • Expert-led training through CPD-accredited events, workshops, and webinars.
  • Mentorship from leaders across clinical, academic, and commercial sectors.
  • Opportunities for pitching, networking, and international exposure.
  • Community support via a collaborative online hub and dedicated team.

Who Can Apply:

  • CEP: Open to all NHS staff - clinical and non-clinical.
  • PEP: For patients or carers in England with lived experience and innovative ideas.
  • Dementia Innovators: For UK-based professionals improving dementia care, in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society.

Applications close at 4pm on Friday 28th November 2025, and the programme will commence in Spring 2026. Applicants will be notified in April 2026.

Innovators can also join the NHS Innovation Service, gaining access to additional support, expert advice, and resources to help scale their innovations within the NHS.
